Karibito, Elly, Mira, and Task Force KIWI define the setting, the viewpoint, and the operational core of the series.
Engineered during wartime as enhanced biological soldiers, most Karibito are women with heightened senses, physical ability, and metabolism. They are gaining citizenship, yet remain concentrated in military, security, and intelligence work.
An American-born, second-generation feline Karibito and former Marine Raider. Usually detached and self-destructive, she becomes fiercely focused in combat—especially after a mission photo reveals the bracelet her mother had promised her—but never returned to deliver.
Raised in Siberia’s Grey Zones, she turns information, usefulness, and loyalty into bargaining chips while resisting the pack instinct she cannot erase.
A Karibito-led multinational unit for rapid reconnaissance and armed intervention in high-risk zones. It operates between special operations and intelligence under clear authorization, but with enough deniability to be abandoned.
